Public policy document │ In this document, CIPPEC analyses the evaluability of 16 public policies. Through a protocol composed of five dimensions, the sample is examined in order to determine whether it exists under conditions conducive to its evaluation.

Moreover, some improvements to strengthen the approach to the evaluation of plans and programs are proposed, among them: strenthening the life cycle of public policies and the technical skills of the people involved in the process, including social actors who would benefit from the interventions actively in the evaluation strategy, encouraging the use of evidence in decision-making and regulating the “evaluative perspective”.
